Reserve early

If you are in need of hotel accommodations for Tour de Gap 2026, we advise getting your reservation set as soon as possible. We in the Abilene-Big Country area are not used to the high demand we have been seeing for lodging, except for a few times a year. One of the big reasons is the Lancium-OpenAI-Stargate-Crusoe data center projects in the area, employing thousands of construction workers We will try to keep this category updated with options for overnights. Meanwhile, keep in mind:
The construction activity is on the north end of the area, Buffalo Gap is in central to south Taylor County. Along Interstate 20 to the west, Cisco-Eastland to the east. AirB&Bs in the Buffalo Gap-Tuscola area. Camping at Abilene State Park or an RV park. We will update these posts as we see opportunities for lodging.

Call a friend or two and suggest you all head to the shady oak trees of the Old Settlers’ Reunion Grounds at Buffalo Gap for 2025’s Tour, July 26!
