Coming to TdG? Think about Sunday too

Just a couple of more weeks and it’ll be time to head over to Buffalo Gap and the Tour de Gap. The Saturday headquarters is the same, the Old Settlers’ Reunion grounds under the giant oak trees. If you stay for Sunday’s Steamboat Challenge Time Trial, we’ll have a new starting line over at Main Street Station, on the south side of town. TdG co-director Mark Spurlock interviews Alex Moore about the Sunday location:

Since we’re talking about the Sunday Time Trial, you might like to see a 3-D view of the course up Steamboat Mountain:

The course will be about 7/10 of a mile longer than the one we’re showing above, a total of 7.8 miles. As a thank you for being here we’re planning a celebration brunch after the hill climb at Main Street Station for registrants, friends and families (no extra cost thanks to our sponsor H-E-B).

So whether you’re coming for both days or just Saturday, we encourage you to go ahead and register… these summer weeks fly by!
